Run report ·

Can we trust the audit files?

The short answer

Built; checks not stated. Release not stated. The author calls it useful; not independently shown.

An offline checker catches inconsistent audit files, run identities and scores without changing the evidence. Useful validator · efficiency needs work.

  1. BuiltYes

An offline checker for audit files, run identities and scores.

1Did it add value?

Yes, within a clear limit. The read-only validator catches inconsistent curated evidence without modifying it. It checks declared file hashes, run identities and score bounds. A valid hash does not prove that a report is true or that an action was authorized.

2What changed

Before: audit exports could disagree without a common consistency check. After: one offline command reports those disagreements. Twenty-one focused positive and negative checks passed independently.

3Where the idea came from

You requested a fresh-context pilot with reviews counted in its budget. The worker selected an evidence validator as a useful improvement to the experiment’s own audit process.

4Scores and who assessed them

Usefulness: 2/3. Read-only validator catches inconsistent curated evidence and accepts pilot001 export;21checks pass. Assessor: coordinator nonauthor.

Correctness evidence: 2/3. Positive/negative21test suite independently rerun; checks tampering, identities, score bounds, paths and nonmutation. Assessor: coordinator nonauthor.

Efficiency: 1/3. Worker reported oversized discovery reads and unnecessarily ran broad listener suite; coordination/setup remained in long parent context. Assessor: coordinator; provisional.

Observability: 2/3. Exact complete worker counters, coordinator sample and agent reserve tracked; automatic-review attribution still unavailable. Assessor: coordinator; provisional.

Independent verification: 2/3. Separate nonauthor coordinator read final runtime/tests and independently ran21checks; repository automatic review pending separately. Assessor: coordinator.

Learning: 2/3. Caught actual cumulative-resume double-count risk; reserve includes automatic reviewer; curated logs now source-versioned. Assessor: coordinator; provisional.

5Usage and lessons

The complete worker thread sampled 756,802 input tokens, including 708,736 cached; 48,066 were uncached. Output was 10,982 tokens. Coordinator and automatic-review usage are separate, so this is not total run cost or a bill.

The resumed CLI counter included earlier work. Summing discovery and final totals would double-count usage. Broader listener checks outside the brief and oversized reads added avoidable work. Three actor threads were reserved, including automatic review.

6Checkpoint and remaining questions

The original pause at 78% shared usage was retained. You explicitly allowed an additional eight minutes and ten calls. The original run used a historical 90% stop; current DiveScene policy stops new admission at 80%. No reset is implied by this record.

Real benefit and efficiency against a comparable task remain unmeasured. This readable summary was prepared on 29 October from retained records; it is not a new run or a new review.
